kerryb 103
My new pup is a first cross pit x bull mastiff which I plan to try out on wild pigs next year. She's kennelled with a a male blue heeler and both are 5 months old. When they play which at times gets quite rough she tends to get hold or his back leg working her way onto his genitals. Question is has anyone else had pups do this and is it potentially as dangerous as it looks. Obviously she is not biting that hard but it makes my eyes water at times? ATB kerryb Quote Link to post
jac 12
Hopefully your heeler will tell her when he's had enough. But if it worry's you then put a stop to it. My pup used to get to ruff with my small dog so I told her NO and gave her a jab with my fingers in her side, I also stopped play when I thought it was getting out of hand telling both dogs off. They soon got the idea and play nice now. In fact I always say to them, play nice lol Quote Link to post
waidmann 105
if you want to work the dog on boar that might be a good hold he may get a kick but they will stay still as mentioned in the post above,if you dont like what they are up to then put a stop to it,it can only reinforce your position as gaffer. atb with the piggys Quote Link to post
