socks 32,253
this a bad news for any lurcher owner hope all goes well with her is there a reason what causesthis injury its when the pup is to fast and powerfull for its frame to cope with pressures put on it as the pup runs and twists and turns ... nothing anybody can do unless you never allow the pup to run ............. whin 463
i would be looking for another pup simliar ,and if she pulls through well and fine ive had some real bad injuries that have recoverd but never the same, and if run hard they seem to be sore and get stiff quicker , been lucky with pups never had any bad injuries usaly when in there prime or chaseing larger game and hitting the odd wood , been lucky realy , she maybe turn good im a great believer in time and gently bringing them back after an injury but i have replacements to work ,nned them , vets are fine and tel you what you want to hear at times Quote Link to post

Their sister Sox aint no slouch either, she can jump a 4 ft fence now, did so a few weeks back (never jumped before) & promptly nailed a neighbours pet rabbit that was loose in their back garden a few doors away.... Tiny 7 1,694
well cara's limp was getting no better after 6 weeks of rest so i rung the vet and arranged an x ray ... i had a sneaky feeling she had chipped a bone in the knee but the x ray proved it was worse than that with a piece of bone seperated from the knee itself .... if this isnt healed completely she will never run so the pup has to be confined to the run for the next 4 months for the bone to calcifey itself back to the knee ... once this happens she will be 100% again BUT that means 7 months of doing absolutely nothing with the bitch at such a crucial time ... i dont keep slip and kill dogs and i demand a high level of obedience and control from my dogs ... will i be able to get this after 7 months of nothing ??? time will tell i suppose ...... a pissed off puppy owner ............... How is she getting on mate? Any news on her heeling or that? Yis T 7 Quote Link to post
