Simoman 110
Out clay shooting today when my right barrel stops firing, anyway it looks like the firing pin has disapeared Anyway we carried on with the other barrel shooting singles. My friend was in the cage when the gun went off kicking up the earth 2 feet in front of him I asumed he had pulled the trigger but he swears that his fingers were not in the guard and that releasing the safety caused the gun to discharge Has anyone heard of this before as to be honest this sh*t us both up. This was his first outing and he was telling me how much he enjoyed it and would like another go but after this happened he has been shaken up and doesn't fancy going again I'm taking the gun in this week but wondered if anyone had heard of this before  Quote Link to post

rob reynolds uk 3
sounds like your fireing pin has snaped off ,and sounds like your mate pulled the trigger for it to go off ..the worst thing you can do to a shotgun is pull the trigger with no shells in the gun ,it fractures the fireing pin ..about £15 to £25 to put right ..
