lurcher lass 9
my lass loves it all and loves eating what i catch.nothing puts her off,she often watches me dressing rabbits and venison. to give you an idea of what she's like.....she went lamping with me once...7 months pregnant! i sent her a pic of a 20lb catfish i caught once, she replied "can we eat it?" i said no and she replied "shame!" sounds like me!! i had enough trouble with my ex, he hated me working the dogs, would have rathered i kept him company while he played computer games , couldn't see what all the fuss was about.. mind you he was nasty at his best -long story . . i eventually got sense and left him now tis just me my daughter, the dogs and ferrets, and all the time i wish to lamp, ferret and follow foxhounds, and to live how i wish what more could i want!!! IF i ever chose to risk everything by being with someone again i would love them to be into hunting but liking the mutts is a must!!

Hollie 21
I wish my partner was into it, he isn't really into dogs that much and although not against hunting in anyway he just never gets round to coming out with me, i don't get to go out at night because i live alone with my daughter and i'm too much of a paranoid wimp to walk about on my own at night anyway, killed my 1st rabbit yesterday, was a bit squemish  so would be nice if he would come with me then he could do the killing

If there's a rabbit that needs to be necked I'm the one that gets to do it  Him indoors is not anti, but he doesn't shoot anymore, and never would shoot purely for sport, only for pest control or something to eat. He really can't see the point of standing around in the cold waiting for a ferret to do something either... But I think it's nice to do your own thing, as well as sharing some hobbies. Macsen 4
Thanks for all the replies folks...seems I'm not on my own then! The mrs. doesnt object to my interest in hunting, she's just not interested in participating, which is probably a good thing as I quite like the peace and quiet. She does come with me to the odd show and country fair occasionaly, but dont think a cold winters night out on the lamp is quite her thing!
