Sandpaper, spraypaint, then use clear coat spray paint to give it a hard finish. Otherwise it just rubs off.

Blast from the past indeed! And the buckets I painted back then have actually stood the test of time damn well. I know of at least one that's probably still sat out there in the cow stall as I type. It's spent all that time getting exposed to every enviromental factor and is fine. Only f*cker is; The 'Idea' didn't work at all so I abandonned the buckets :(

I also had to abandon the idea of Blind Sets; I'd just end up wiping out poxy f*cking pine martens left right and centre round here. B@stards are EVERYWHERE! :censored:

Little more use to anybody than a mink; But they - like badgers - are protected. I can't touch them. Cages. Cages. Cages. End of

Have you considered the GARLANDS camo buckets in ADV timber and green they come in 18ltr 10ltr 5ltr, i bought a set from halecamo.com and they only cost me £15 the set. Lids are a good tight seal

i had to email them to get the 18ltr and they offered free postage.

dont know if this will help
