Are they really that game?? One of my regular customers had one a few years back . Now addmitedly she'd made no attempt at obedience training so any comments on its biddability would'nt be fair but I'd have said it had a similar temperament to a whippet with maybe a tad of saluki aloofness thrown in . The lady owner is the ex-wife of a pop star and part of the divorce settlement included a few acres of overgrown woodland complete with rabbits . The Pharaoh was a great -but yappy- rabbiter when hunting on it's own terms . It was also a bit of a trouble-maker with the other dogs .Only once actually getting in a fight (I have the scars from the time I rescued it from the jaws of the alsation guard -dog) but somehow being a great instigater of trouble . awen 30 Posted September 1, 2009 Report Share Posted September 1, 2009 was chatting to a guy in the street the other week that had a whippet/pharoh it was an old boy but said hed had alot of fun with it, he said its biggest fault was it tearing its skin all the time Quote Link to post
