got a phone call the other night of me uncel saying he had just got some new permission from a job that he had just finished so we had alook out the other morning. there was a few hares about my uncel doubeled his lil whippet bitch up with my dog and retrived a hare. then my dog retrived one it self.

for got to mention that the reson for doubling up on the first one is because mt uncel wanted a run bu his lil bitch has a dislocated toe and if the retrive goes on for long it starts to hurt her

No ,not the police ,just someone who ran in season .

Summer hares are not remotely the same as a Jan winter hare, and hares run just after the fields are cut are easier ,because their natural habitat and refuge has been removed , so they take a while to adjust to this ,but that wouldnt bother you would it?

Obviously seasons dont come into the equation where you are concerned.

Yes seasons come in to it and i never run my dogs out of season but if the lad wants to slip his dog in which ever month he wants what is it to you? That is his choice, there is nothing wrong with keeping a dog interested !!!!
