To be truthful mine struggles a bit but he's a big lad, his top speed is about the same as most Lurchers but he just can't turn quick enough, don't get me wrong he can catch them but he's no world beater! Dogs his size are bred for other quarry.

You can get smaller 3/4 1/4 Bullx that catch them with ease, it's just a case of finding one?

You might be better looking at a colliex?

All the best with your decision.

thats true mate big dogs are for bigger quarry but can still be used for smaller stuff. ive got a 3/4 bull 1/4 grey bitch on at min and was out cutting rape the other day and she nailed 6 out of 7 rabbits and a rat!! its the type of bull terrier you use what matters ive seen pure bull terriers that can catch rabbits an some that couldnt even walk properly be used in lurcher breeding an i think you all no what would make the better pups!!!!!!

I had one called Kernal once about 4 year ago....

Well to be honest that dog could catch most things, But I would'nt say his sepeciality lay with rabbits but like i say he caught his fair share,

I can honesty say he was worth his weight in Gold, A few people of here seen him work and to say they where shocked would be an understatement,

A real good cross if you anit a all out rabbiting man,

After owning one i would never underestimated this cross,
