hazel poles

need help sorry to sound daft but how do i identifi the hazel not realy good on trees ie whats the leaf like - dose it grow like a tree or bush

It grows straight up in big clumps, there will be small nuts on it now, whitey / green coloured, usually big patches all the same, you couldnt miss it. I have put some pictures below

i think the easiest thing to do would be google hazel and have a good old look on images they go for a wander

dont cut them untill febuary there will be less sap in them then
