When do you feed your dogs and why ?

I feed mine about 9 o clock at night. They seem to settle better for the night if fed later in the evening. atb stabba

Find the same myself. Feed mine last thing usually an hour or two after a run.

feed once a day usually late evening unless im working nights. If im lamping feed when i get home. Never feed a dog and then run it.

Usually feed them about 10ish and they seem to settle fine unless theres cats about. I used to feed them about 5ish and run them about 10 before kip. But they seem to relax better this way. As far as lamping goes, I think they are better sharp set and fed an hour or so after. anyone share my opinion ?

It depends what shift i'm on, but it's always at least an hour after they have had their exercise. I also miss out their food every Saturday.

I vary it so depending on what i'm doing, i like to keep them quessing as well. Sometimes they get a starve day too, other days they get a heavy feed. Feeding after exercise is just as bad, the general rule is not 2 hours before or 2 hours after.

you'd feed your dogs 2 hrs before excerise?does that include a nights lamping etc?
