jenksi87 3
just wondered if any body had thought about or has added husky blood into there lurchers? obviously there are things to be gained from it, such as amazing stamina and a nice winter coat. would there be any downsides from it? Sorley x 32
Husky's have a very efficient stride and style for steady pace. Sprinting over and over is different requirement and they don't cut the mustard. Coat is thick but our winters aren't the artic. sorry if this isn't very positive. Quote Link to post

lurcher lass 9
i have met a good few that through lack of training and constant doing new work that have become hard to handle, they require hard duty work all the time, this is a breed of dog that cannot switch off due to season change like you say stamina etc they are very good in but you'd need to be very carefull as to which dog you bred from interesting question though and nice to have a change of topics Quote Link to post
jac 12
Husky s are not very reliable off lead and are stubborn. By crossing you may get a husky that can now run away from you faster. Husky cross greyhounds have been used in sled racing, but I personally would not use a husky cross for hunting, to much worry of getting them back once off lead Quote Link to post
