Took an afternoon stroll,, And was delighted at the suprise that greeted me

Well i heard gun shots coming from the valley earlier as i was sat on the computer at home,, thought thats strange must be cutting the crops and shooting anything that bolts,,So i took an afternoon stroll with the dogs and this is what i was greeted with

 

 

A site most of us lamping boys love to see

 

 

So i guess it will be time to start charging the lamp up for a bit of pre season rabbiting and such as.

Also quick question,,How are the feilds looking by you? As ive seen alot of crops that look like there weeks away from cutting in other parts of the country this week.

as scent said we are still waiting on the second cut when the rain stops, typical scotland, but its bringing the salmon up so cant complain too much

well on the farm i work we have started cutting the rape the feilds are being disced at the same time as us cutting/carting only 9700 acres to go

none of ours been cut so i go to the places where theres not much long grass(not allot of places like that) but still good for getting your dog fit and still keeping the population up

Well ive just spoke to the keeper he wondered if i would like to go out with the rilfe beacsue theres quite a few foxes about and hids birds have just gone to wood,,Will be posting on here later.
