are any of you former members of the south yorkshire coursing club,club folded when the ban came into effect.we used to course on the lincolnshire wolds???????

was just thinking today about the old coursing clubs i was in the lincoln club used too have some great days out still see some of the old faces about

I used to try and run a club in the late 70s early 80s at carlton towers near selby kayotic can best describe some of the days lads who paid £3 to run their dogs were determined to get their moneys worth it usualy ended up with loose dogs running every were the good thing about it i met some decent lads who i still keep in touch with today.atb

Yes all the clubs north of the M62 Scotland included NCC mind got paid for it as well

I was /am a member of Lincs club,that now obviously does not course ,because it is illegal.

I was a member of an Anglian Club that disbanded ,when the ban came in ,also two greyhound coursing clubs,one on Romney marsh and one in Essex.

We used to go [bANNED TEXT] Roland keeperd it it started with just a dozen going the first time [bANNED TEXT] word got around about 100 turned up for the second meet.Some lads wonderd off onto adjoining land and got it stopped some years later.atvb
