billbroon 9
Well guys, was out last night with my scorpion t10. After sitting watching the rain running down my window it eventualy cleared to blue skys at 7:30 so went upto a farm i get to shoot for bunnys. U have to walk through long grass to get to where the rabbits are munching the crop and when i got there i could easily see around 13 and this is where everything started to go wrong. I was patient enough and rushed in which caused the rabbits to bolt So after sitting for about 20 mins a wabbit popped back out about 25 yards away what haapens, silly me gets to excited fires and misses so i sit for another half hour and nothing kicking myself for rushing in not taking my time. Anyways, on tthe way back to my car i know theres a high mud banking where there is a few burrys so a got down on the ground and crawled for about 35 yards to get close, and a was able to get to about 30 when i was able to see 2 bunnys. One was on the ground and the other was half way up. So a got cumfy on the groung looking through the scope, started to control my breathing a deciced to take the one on the banking as he was a clear head shot, so got him steady in the scope and squeezed the triger nice in slow and bingo he was down not even a twitch so a was happpy and got tea for tonight . P.S plus ive learnt to take my time and dont rush myself,, thanks for reading billy. Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
if every thing is going bad, then there is nothing better than a confidence booster like that. just stay calm when out in the field i know its hard when the adrenaline kicks in, but a good disciplined shooter doesn't come home empty handed.if you do see more than one, just observe them for a while let them settle, then you may get 2/3 consecutive shots of. well done buddy happy hunting Davy Quote Link to post
