beddlington/greyhound 50
whippet greyhound/beddy greyhound sire whippet/greyhound 26tts dam beddy/greyhound 24tts Ozzie is 10months old, 23tts, seen abit of work, works well on the lamp for 10months old.i started taking him out when he was around 8 months old he has been out a dozen times slipped on the odd couple of rabbits he has caught approx 5-6 and a few of them have been very good courses.he turns well and very keen dog always alert looking down the lamp. i am going to be completely honest he is abit underweight at the moment and i think this has something to do with the fact he had a slight injury to one of his back legs about 3 weeks ago.he caught his back left leg on a fence and cut his skin about an inch long. the cut has now pretty much healed up now just a slight scab still there. dont be put off by this cut it never seem to have caused him any problems as he was walking and running around after it happened been out for a few walks since it has healed he is still keen and he still gives it full pace and runs fine.i was cleaning the cut everyday twice a day with a anticeptic wash called hibiscrub until the cut was healed.now it has healed and he is feelin himself again im sure the weight will soon put back on. i have mentioned the above because i am honest i wouldnt lie and then someone come to see him and notice the scab and say i never mentioned that.if i thought it was that bad i wouldnt be selling him. ozzie is a cracking dog gets on well with other dogs and kids. he has been in a kennel since i have owned him and you dont here a peep out of him. Reason for sale i have ozzie and a 14month old beddy/grey which i am still training and to be completely honest i dont have the time for both dogs and i feel ozzie needs and deserves more time spent on him. only reason for selling him and not the other is i have put alot of time to get her where she is and alot of money in vet bills on the her.i want to put all my time on one dog not half and half on two dogs. ozzie is still young and alot to learn and in the right hands he will make a good worker. i am looking for £130ono for him. i live in devon i would meet anyone who is interested and live a fair way away pm me if you got any questions cheers Edited July 16, 2009 by beddlington/greyhound

lurcher lass 9
i'm sure a good working home will come up, he is a stunner i haven't the time, currently bringing on two pups, need to concerntrate on them!! all the best mate and nice to see someone honest when selling their dog in regards to the leg, don't happen too often, also i would suggest popping pics up of the leg close up so people can see what the marks/damadge is etc and maybe a pic of him running/trotting may help raise interest mate hope this helps mate all the best lurcher lass xxx
mackay 3,675
You've had him this long, why not hang onto him another couple of weeks till his leg has healed completely and get weight on him, better for the dog himself and anyone interested is seeing him at his best. swamp rat 0
agree with mackay you need to be patient with the dog and give it time to heal when you get a working dog you make a comitment to look after it and nurse it when it gets injured as well as when its doing well. nobody with any sense would buy an injured dog if you have to sell him then get him right first
