tracetheface152 0 Posted July 7, 2009 Report Share Posted July 7, 2009 can anyone out there give me a bit of advice?my lurcher bitch is 13 weeks old and for the last week her ear is sticking up like a jacks,,when i touch it she yelps,,,can this happen when they are teething ? and will it go back to norm,,ive checked and its clean with no inflamation at all,,any opinions much appreciated Quote Link to post Share on other sites

skycat 6,174 Posted July 8, 2009 Report Share Posted July 8, 2009 Pups' ears do sometimes stick up at funny angles when they are teething, but your pup is too young to be teething yet (4 to 5 months as a rule) and if the ear is hurting her you need to get to the vet in case there is an infection in there: bad infections can cause all sorts of problems and even make the dog deaf if bad enough, let alone causing a lot of pain: get it sorted asap.
