trapperman 475
my mate is a very good shot with a gun, but if you can hit a fast moving dog at 70 yards plus with a shot gun come and have a go yourself !!!!!! no wonder it wasnt killed at that range, or was it a punt gun
donk 12
Im going to be honest,if i was out with my lurchers and one of them started getting stuck into a sheep i'd want the dog shot. F@ckin dog that does that is no good to me and is only going to bring trouble to my door. Its a different matter if some gimp of a gamey or farmer starts shooting at your dogs just because their running the land, but if one of mine turned sheep worrier/killer it would have to go. It wouldnt be nice seeing one of my dogs shot, but who wants a sheep killer? Not me. Everytime you went out with the dog you would be shitting yourself in case it chased a rabbit, missed it and went off after a bloody sheep?
littlefish 596
News travels fast. Maybe now the caravaners will make more of an effort to keep their dogs under control.
dogs-n-natives 1,182
It takes a f*****g big and powerful dog to rip a sheep up. Bollocks, ive seen wee terriers with sheep in tatters(and dead) in a matter of munites. Any type of dog can rip sheep up, there not exactly hard to catch are they..... but i suppose you know best, after all you do feed your dogs sheep hearts
bedrock 16
It takes a f*****g big and powerful dog to rip a sheep up. No I don’t mate I’ve seen a mates lakeland make a mess of a sheep by the time we got to it the sheep had a broken leg and a good chunk of his face missing the farmer then give the dog a lead breakfast and a bill for my friend. If people are going to walk their dogs walk around the countryside then they need to be stock broken. atb bedrock
The one 8,583
If it was one of mine id want it shot as well what goods a dog you cant let off the lead in the countryside?? Theres a load of townies moving out into the countryside and think they can do what they want with there dogs and something like this a huge wake up call for them theres rules in the countryside as well as in cities But the end result is if they cant control there dogs they shouldn't BLOODY have them.
