Neutered hobs

Recommended Posts

Can neutered (spelling) hobs bring jills out of season as I want to get 2 of my hobs done but a vasectomy is out of my price range at the moment I haven't got any jills but might do later on for smaller holed warrens, and possibly breeding in a season or 2. But f a neutered hob can't take a jill out of season I wont get any jills till I can get a vesectomy done.

Thanks,

there's no gurantee joe, but sometimes, yes, I have a cage with three castrated hobs in, and a one year old jill, you can quite clearly see that they have had her by the scruff, and can remember a few other members saying they had castrated hobs that did the job, having them castrated would mean you can keep them together all year round, without fear of fighting, although saying that, I have two brothers that live together no probs, think its down to the individual ferret

well, if you ever need him, Ive got one snipped hob, thats definatly firing blanks, your always welcome to drop a jill over here for a few days

Cheers Steve should be driving soon so won't be to much trouble getting over to you if I do get a jill or 2.
