rascal_2005 79 Posted June 22, 2009 Report Share Posted June 22, 2009 hi guys my best mate has just got the above from some travellers (long story) and was hopeing to train him as a rabbiter? hes 8 weeks at the mo and i know this is a bit young to start training but we relly want to get prepared for him. at the mo hes defo got potential, he head shakes teddys and wants to chase and bite teddys already, hes fearless already. he has only been at my friends house for a few days and settleing in really well. i belive hes come from working stock but cant be sure. so if anyone out there can help us out that would be great. thanks john boy Quote Link to post

Big bald beautiful 1,231 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Share Posted June 23, 2009 break it to stock, birds, sheep, cattle etc.get it coming back when its called and then get it out among some rabbit spots. dont keeping telling it to enter cover, dont keep egging it on to mark up, just watch it do its own thing .you and it will learn Quote Link to post
