my local gunshop put me off the bsa ultra because its a sealed unit it has to go back to the manufacturer when a problem arises, one was sudden drop in power output,,i would get the gun chronod first just to see,,,hopefully it might be bad pellets,,try a different pellet at targets,,then try the old tin of pellets you have,,

What Calibre ?

Exterminators / Penetrators Should give good results

Defiant 5.52's if .22 @ 14 Grains seem to give .22's that Extra Punch

As many have found when getting Gun's back from JB - with Defiant Test Cards ;)

Just how MUCH commision do you get plugging these Defiants ;)

Seriously, I did as you asked on the UBC forum, did Yeomen get back to you?

HI chaps

just to keep you updated, i bought some fx pellets which as phantom states in his post [seen as we bought them from the same shop] they are the same as AA fields, i used them this morning and yes what a difference, everything i hit went straight down with a thud. The flight of the pellet is far better,

so thanks again guys

look forward to a silencer

Glad that's resolved for you mate! Just to add, hollow head pellets are best kept for despatching vermin at extreme close range, like rats in a live cage trap for example. ;)
