Kay 3,709
I was going out with both dogs this morning but changed my mind and just took the male Greyhound Rob, so glad i didnt walk them both together Both dogs when walked are 99% on recall now , today the recall was 0% , i walk the dogs in various places and decided to go down a woodland path i havent walked for a week or so , theres a gipsey camp at the bottom off this walk so i normaly lead the dogs back up in plenty of time so i can walk through the camp Well today was different there was a whole load of gipsey caravans way up the woods & about 20 dogs baying for blood so Rob bolted , never seen him open up before & he can shift The poor bugger was terrified , so then the hunt to get him back started & what a hunt i have had i eventually had to sit & wait for him to come to me , he entered a field with 4 horses in it so i had to wait for him to come to me, trying to be calm incase he spooked the horses , but he didnt even go to investigate them, they were all laying down like he wasnt there thankfully. I thought if i kept walking away from him he would come back to me , which he was doing but not near enough to be able to grab his collar , thankfully the only good thing to emerge is he isnt bothered about horses because i dred to think what could have happened & i hate the thought of either of my dogs being a nuicence to other animals or people just a couple of pics of the illucive Rob Looks well battered in this pic relaxing back at home after his rampage

Kay 3,709
It really scared him, the only other time he has bolted was when a helicopter came over a few months back , i only took him on this route because its quieter than the other places he goes & i thought i could spend a little bit of quality time with him
stealthy1 3,964
My shepherds like that, if some thing wants a go he cant leave it alone, I costantly watch for other dogs when he's off the lead, if I ever win the Lotto I'm buying my own meadow.
