RWDSteve 0
I had a knock at the door yesterday morning. A bloke from down the road enquiring if I'd got a Ferret. I said yes and he asked if it'd escaped. I'd been to feed her that morning but not seen her assuming she was asleep. After a quick check "Well, I did have a Ferret". She'd managed the usual Ferret trick of exploiting a very small oversight in the cage construction. Then escaped the lean-to on the back of the house (a far less difficult task). The bloke from down the road had let his dog out of the conservatory into the back garden and in wandered an inquisitive little Ferret. He then spent his morning asking around trying to find the owner (she'd managed to wander about 10 doors down). So anyway, luckily got her back. The strange thing is she was very prone to nipping until this little misadventure. She's now as soft as muck, even had her wandering round the living room and playing for the first time (much to the missus's and pup's disapproval). Quote Link to post
