Now then, dont know if its of interest to any one, but I started this project last year, theres this peice of land thats next to where I have permission to shoot, its absoluetly brimming with rabbits, its an inert soil dump, a place where building sites put top soil until they have finished off the houses, then they take it back to create the gardens. Well I got caught walking around it with the dog one day, this security guard pulled me and had a bit of a go, said he would lose his job if I was found on this land, I did'nt have a problem with that, but it did strike me that it was a waste to have all those little bunnies running around having fun, and I could'nt, so I decided if I could'nt go to them, they would have to come to me ;) so on my side of the land I strimmed a few yards of the rough grass under the hedge a couple of times to make it a little more lush, hence atracting Mr bunny, all I was interested in was some were close to home that I could just park the car, and whack one or two rabbits for the ferrets, well with all this rain we've had, I could'nt be arsed to trudge through muddy fields, and wanted to be close to the car if it p***ed it down, so of I went to test this project, when I jumped the fence I could see a few rabbits doing one under the hedge, which I found encouraging, plopped my self down behind some stinging nettles, and yes they do sting  sat for about 45 minutes before anything showed up,WHACK a nice big buck caught the first chunk of lead, then a 20 minute wait until the next one popped its self on to my project lawn, WHACK down it went, it started to go dark when the black rain clouds came over, but just as I was about to pack up and run, out popped another, WHACK, summersault, and in the bag, dont know if this project will produce any big bags, but the potential seems to be there, and if not, at least it will produce some thing for the ferrets, I'm going to leave it a couple of weeks and have a bigger session on it, see what happens eh!

Nice result S1 :gunsmilie: best keeping the rabbits on your side of the fence :whistling::D

Have to have them on my side now Andy after getting caught on there with the dog, was going with the gun that day :) , good job I took the dog instead, if it works out I should be able to sit in the car and listen to a bit of metal :rocker: and whack them out of the car window, I just want some were that has a few on it, so on those days afer a twelve hour shift, I can just sit in comfort and gather something fresh for the fezzers. ;)

You might be onto something here. My aunt has acres of rabbit invested meadow land behind her house and yet the rabbits prefer to come onto her lawn and eat the grass on there.

Any chance of some permission Jack :D

If you saw the amount of rabbits on this land Davey, and nobody having a pop at them, I nearly cried when the security gaurds told me to f**koff, most lads would sell there souls for permission like that. :D
