BenBhoy 4,706
Hi guys. as i've stated in previous posts, i work at a special needs school teaching farming, horticulture and all things to do with nature. at every opportunity i try to relate things to fieldsports and country ways of life. after some thought we are now looking to add some ferrets to our animal collection. the majority of the students are residential so the ferrets will be handled alot...and then some more! i've experience of keeping ferrets and working them, and will be taking some of the more able bodied students out to terrorise the rabbits on the school grounds! so if anyone in the notts/derbyshire area has any kits (prefferably a couple of jills) that are looking for a very good home, then please pm me via the forum. thank you very much. BenBhoy 4,706
welshound - didn't receive a pm mate. thanks for all the feedback, especially to rob (iguanaman) for his kind offer. sue - have decided kits will be best so the kids can see them grow and we've found something that they can see developing (i.e. seeds growing into an edible vegetable) is the best way for them to really understand and care for things. the animals we already have are a wonderful therapy for the pupils.
