LLANSADWRN DOG RACING Same venue as last year, Llansadwrn, Carmarthenshire, SA19 8HH Dates of meetings all starting 6.00pm. Irfon &Tyiw Hound Show has been runing for 108 years over the past three years i have stuck my neck out and turned the show around with terrier and lurcher show along side the hounds with a good turn out of working dogs and i would like to thank all for their suport as we all know how hard it is to keep the hounds runing and fed over the summer months good day out with a good old singsong after the show with ya mates SHOW STARTS AT 2PM -so dont miss out on a good day AT LLANAFAN - FAWR VILLAGE HALL ON THE B4358 [ POST CODE LD23PN ] lurcher judge MR PAUL PRICE form builth wells -

Carmarthenshire hunt are holding thier terrier, lurcher and hound show at the new venue of the welsh equestrian centre pant yr rathro, near llansteffan, sa33 5 aj, the show will be sign posted from carmarthen round about on A40, it will be held indoors at th riding school so no need 2 worry about the weather. There will be a bar and bbq aswel as other refreshments. Prior to our meeting on Friday 10th of May we are holding our 1st race night (TRIAL RUN) on the show field Pont Faen Farm, Ciliau Aeron SA48 8DF. 6pm start, nothing special, no entrance fee and no rosettes. Bring your lurchers, terriers, young and old, experienced or inexperienced and give them a run on the lure. All running lurchers must be muzzled.

Any good gun auctions in South wales or borders ? Use to be one in town Abergavenny run by auctioneers Eric Thomas but when he died so did they . Tried a websearch but nothing local to me , looking for a Laurona Eibar o/u with the game scene engraving on action .

Use to live in Pencoed nr. Bridgend made quite a few mates in shooting, hunting , circles whilst there but then moved back to my home town Ebbw Vale ,now living Nr. Abergavenny but my friends were John from Heol-y-Cyw nr Coychurch Bridgend and his cousin Snowy from Aberkenfig ,I also became friends with Alan Thomas who was a postmaster at that time in a sub post office nr. Pencoed ,would be nice to meet up as I have not seen any of them for around thirty years or more ! P.M. me or post on here if you know of them or perhaps are one of them ?, -

Anyone in this area to meetup for chat and few beers , I shoot shotguns,rifle,reload ,use to work Terrier and Lurcher ,ferreting . Got a Whippet now so could meet up for exercise walks , I,m on the mature side though so don,t do as much now .
