I agree that the better all arounder would be what you said but wouldnt the deerhoundxsaluki make them almost to big and tall for good pic ups on hare. Just learning so dont think I am gettin pissy, just wonder thats all. if bred of good dogs they should do the job e.g. coursing deerhound x coursing saluki
