cheers for the reply,ive had her round sheep and horses and she is fine with them just when a dog comes running across the field or we see one barking on a lead she seems scared i will try find some more people with dogs round here to try get her use to them

no other dogs have gone for her my collie has the odd grumble at her when she is in the house just showing her who is boss i think but that dont stop her harrassing him

i have a 3 and half month old 3/4 grey 1/4 saluki i know she is only still very young but she is my first running dog so not knowing alot about them except what ive read i was just wondering if it was normal at this age to be scared of other dogs,i have been walking her on her lead for about 3 weeks now and she is excellent on her lead also i let her off for a run with my collie in the fields and she recalls no problem at all and runs around with the collie but if another dog comes along she seems to be terrified is this normal

My dogs a bit strange given i hand reared her from a few days old, i was told she wouldnt ever be trustworthy & she would be a nightmare to live with by so called experts some 11 yrs ago. I dont think i did to bad with her but she does have some funny little ways ,she sucks clothes till there wet through given the chance, she didnt come down to the living room all last weekend as me & my son were away , she only came down to lie on the sofa when we got back,my husband said she sulked the whole weekend,she wouldnt go near him she gets jealous off the cat being fussed & will c

does a bitch pup normally get to the same height as the mother or father or normally somewere inbetween no sure on the height of either of the parents but my pup is 13 weeks old and is 15'' tts just wondering what she would make

no offence taken didnt think about that reason i was asking was got my pup yesterday and was going to have her outside as she was use to been outside but it only lasted 30 mins befor our lass felt sorry for her and she slept at the side of our bed

where do your dogs live in or out and what bennifits does it have?

after asking questions on injections i have a few more questions to ask as ive decided to get a 12 week old puppy how often at 12 weeks should it be fed and what food do you recomend? what is the best way to house train?the dog will be outdoors during the day but will sleep indoors how much excersize will the dog want at this age?

just wondered if all of you have your dogs injected,reason im asking is a lad ive been talking to has salukixgreyhound pups they are 12 weeks old and he was saying he didnt think their was any need to get them injected as he has a 10 year old greyhound who has never been injected and never had any problem i have a collie x and have always had him injected am i wasting my money or has this lad just been lucky

i am thinking of getting a lurcher the problem being my wife has 2 cats (that i hate) but if anything happened to them id never hear the end of it,is it possible if i got a pup i could get them use to each other the cats are use to dogs as we have a collie cheers daz
