were that glen ross go he was from here .he still on the go.....

he was hosting at the maze in te summer. I trained in castlereagh many yrs ago when the free weights gym was in the old squash court, there was only me and him in there, he is a powerful beast indeed, I was benching 120 kg and he was arm curling more, he had a 2ltr bottle of coke and eating a family pack of tayto cheese n onion, I kid you not. He's built like a silverback

I remember seeing pics of Ross ,,as a young fella bodybuilding,,,he was very lean,,,you wouldn't think it was the same fella

he said he found the bodybuilding easy, and wanted to try a bigger challenge, if he lost weight and got fitter he could compete again,, he's carrying too much around his mid section

  4. Exactly, same goes for nearly every human fighter, there's a time frame that they perform at their best , their prime and the longer they fight after that well, it's only the very best undefeated get to retire, the rest end up with loses before long. But that doesn't change the fact that they were top class in their prime. Look at Ali he was by most seen as the greatest, but he was also defeated a few times. We'll the same goes for terriers

  5. Since ww2 the western world has gone and got itself in an out of control mess set on the path of self destruction. Where does it all stop? I mean we're already being taken over by foreign invasion and to speak out against it your labelled racist. It's just wrong. Same goes for everybody wanting to do stuff they think they have to tell everybody on Facebook. What ever happened to mind your own £ucking business.

A well composed shot, but I'd be more impressed if the hare was truly wild.....I think this photo could be historical in a few years time as I do think that Park 'Coursing' won't be around forever. I use the term 'coursing' in its loosest possible sense...JMO....JD

its looks like a Belgium hare ?

I wish I could take pics like that..I find myself in a position to be able to get great actions shots..but the Iphone just doesn't seem to capture it...lol

Its an irish hare mate.......they are released for muzzled greyhounds to run.

According to folklore lol the white hare was an easy assignment for a lurcher and with the Irish Hare being a sub species of the White Hare does it also mean these were easy pickings for an average type of dog? Genuine question for those who have ran all three "brown, white & irish" ..ive not seen let alone ran an irish hare so whats the craic then lads?

Well, folklore is often wrong Fuji me old mate....as well you know. I've ran them all and I have to say that the Irish hares were like rockets, they had it all IMO, they were fast, nimble, could turn tighter than a leveret and they could stick on for the duration. All in all, they spanked my dog's arse!  :D

As for the blue hare, well, I know of some that takes a good dog to catch 1 out of 3, with 30 yard slips :icon_eek: :icon_eek: That population opened a few lads eyes :icon_eek: myself included! :D

with all due respect to the 2good posts above every animal running from a sight hound and putting up a good account of itself deserves to be held in the highest regard, because without the prey there would never be the dogs of legend status

  7. That Burells a crack pot ...

The current fashion for crossing Pit Bulls, Salukies and Greyhounds often disguised under a Deerhound's or Bedlington's coats to make them more saleable are definitely not of the same controllable nature ……………

Woe betides anyone foolish enough to release one of those beasts into a rearing pen of pheasants. Sure it will kill the fox , but only after doing the fox's job for him first. Basically you have, the aggression of the Bull combined with the indifference to training of the Salukie added to the light-trigger of the Greyhound, with nothing but broken glass between the ears to control any of it. Personally I would rather stand in the rearing pen grasping a grenade with the pin removed.lolololololololol that made me laugh

Dont phone him mate save your time..
