what would you folks say was the best 4 x 4 for both on and off road, taking into consideration fuel consumption, road performance and off roading capabilities? i am running an 04 plate td4 freelander and i must say that it has gave me no problems as of yet, but gettin a bit bored of it.
i am sure it's of lurcher to lurcher breeding. i know there is greyhound whippet and collie in the dog, and some bedlington aswell, very racey built, wouldn't mind it myself but too much work on at the moment. lad is looking for 150, tht is fully jabbed and training has been started

we have just purchased a black lab bitch pup from working stock. goin to use her primarily for beating, and for rough shooting. we have had labs in the past but just for retrieving, they never really made good hunting dogs in beating line, but outstanding retrievers on both hidden and marked retrieves.
question is how can i go about bringing this pup up in order to get it hunting hard in the beating line without it becoming just a lack luster hunter?
right lads could i have some of your views on what yous think is the best hunting spring rifle on the market today. taking into consideration, weight, silence and accuracy of the weapon?
also what would be your favoured scope to go along with it?
cheers, Russ
