My family are all originally Northern Irish Protestant and half of them have gone on to marry into Catholics family's, guess we are more capable of forgetting and forgiving past tragedies and moving on. Too true.....I've seen it first hand, one of my best mates has a family of alcoholics.......his dad was shitting himself in the street, breaking into the neighbours for money, attacking family members......8 years clean now & managing director of a successful business......it can be done, but he did it himself.....not the rest of the world... at the moment he just a drunk with a few quid, at one time he entertain a nation, if he had a job an got a bit the limelight again an was helping a few kids along the way wouldn't you watch him on tv Be good to see him well again...
