    Thanks David, it's only a bit if practice and knowing the data. Nowt that special. I'm using Strelock Pro which holds all my ballistic data. Combined with a rangefinder and wind meter. Keep the app open on your phone, range the target, check the wind, dial your adjustments and take the shot. Sounds more long-winded than it actually is. You'll do it all in under a minute. Wind is the only realistic variable to consider. Today it was pretty consistant. Elliott what vortex scope are you using?

    If you have your own ferrets handle them as often as you can.They will soon get used to it and should stop nipping and then your little one will be able to handle them without the fear of getting a nip. Don't let them grind you down, and just give as good as you get, and you'll be a donator in no time.     thank you for you advice delswal if it was for the nature of the permission i wouldn't of evan considered it but if i don't get it done someone else will step in and get it done!! i am shooting the permission at the moment but the number are vast and shooting isn't going to quite cut it! If you know there is Kits to ground keep ya ferrets out that way ya won't need a muzzle, I am no expert on ferrets but why muzzle one? What if it comes across a dirty great rat underground how does it defend its self? Had ferrets years ago but never had the need to muzzle one unless I was missing som

    I know I wouldn't be ferreting this time of year if the owner of the horse paddock wasn't worried the horses would fall down the holes in the middle of the fields and break there legs, so by the looks of it I will be doing a hell of a lot of digging over the weekend! but thank you
