    no mate you will regret if you do!... Treat cocci and worms nothink else..... Feed a agood starter feed keep fresh water with them that's all they need IMO..... Don't let there bedding become wet or full dropping when there young it will bring diseases on.....change it if it does...... ATB uk

    I would after agree with that willie I'm strong Believer in keep as close to nature as possible.... But early part of the year it is best to keep them in side to there fully featherd due to the cold and wet months we have.... Also somethink I would like to add is don't leave a hen and chicks in a pen with a perch as I have seen hens fly up and roost and leave the chicks on the ground to die of cold.... Theses hen are not good mothers I watch hens closely with chicks and keep records of hatch rates and survival rates... If a hen mess up the egg incubating or make a bad mother she is culled from

    Thanks willie.... Only foolish man thinks he nows everythink there is now in this hobby.... We are all still learning. Some things may sound crazy till you try it out for self then it all seems to make sence when you look back at it.... one thing I will say is don't pamper chicks to much treat them for worms lice and cocci any think else that still look sick in slightzed way should be culled..... Mother Nature now better then any of us..... So leave her do her job!.... Once start madaciting to keep chicks a live you never breed healthy fowl you need breed for vigure Constitution and health....

    it's 25 percent chick starter crumbs 25 percent boiled rice 20 percent hard boild egg crushed shell aswell.... 20 percentage boild pasta strings chop up into small peices.... And ten percent dog fod..... Stir up well add 3 heaping table spoons of honey and sir again leave sit over night and feed the next morning..... Also a small handful of carnery egg mix couple times a week is great for them.... It is full of vitamins... .... Keep one cap of cider vinger in there drinking water along with a peice of garlic.... I have meny as I can possbilly breed at this moment in time..... As for the jump board I will take that on board but he seems to fine so far....
