I'd emphasize a lot on socialising her with other dogs, they can be a handful with other dogs and if worked in a pack. My working terrier bitch has Jagd in her for a very large part but it took the breeder quite some generations and fell blood to get the dog agressiveness out of her line. They can be quite cheap, as in for free or at least below €200. Have been looking for a bitch and came across several working jagds recently which need a new home because of their behaviour towards other dogs or their size. But the cheap ones are almost always without ped./ papers. she will be well social

shes very confident and forward for her age very high drive and full of energy cant wait to get her out with the older dogs. atb

i threw together a small earthdog trial tunnel this morning just for abit of fun with the pup getting her used to going threw the tunnels.

sorry gor the late reply i havent been on for a while. picked my jagd pup up a couple of days ago and just had a look at both bitches pedigrees and there from asstraata line not aluminium line. heres some pics of the pup...

paid £500 for her which isnt bad considering there about £1000-£2000 depending on which line of breeding its from to get one imported .

thanks lads shes very confident and full of energy wont sit still cant wait to get her out and about. hopefully she will turn out like her parents and make a cracking digging dog.

how much should i be giving my 8week old jagd terrier per day? im feeding her on raw chicken mince 3 times a day but unsure if im giving her too much or shes just not eating well enuff as she dont seem to eat a right lot she weights 2.2kg

picked my jagd bitch pup up yesterday more than happy with her so far settled in well with the other dogs except the rottweiler but he dont count as he dont like anything or anyone just a guard dog. had her first jab today. if anyone can let me know how to upload pics ill post some of her. thanks

ant had chance to get out much lately but picking up a new pup next friday just wonderd if anyone has any fox tails or rabbit skins they want to sell for bringing the new pup on. thanks

steaminggutpiles - why is the dogs tail docked so short or is it due to a working injury that its so short. unlacedgecko - from a guy called ivan, a mate of mine put me intouch with him as hes imported a few dogs from him before and the pup im gettings from a norfolk the dam was coverd in hungary and the bitch was shipped over while in pup. only got chance to dig to her a couple of times last season but going to get her out alot more next season.
