I thought some one would jump at the chance to help some one new in the game. If it helps I'm interested in a whippet x something open to suggestions. and has anyone been in this situation and have any pointers so I can learn from other people's experiences and mistakes. I know every dog is different but will help me prepare for any problems that may arise.

They will be kept together in the house due to theft around my area. That would be my reasoning for the spayed them being together.

Basically I have a dog patterdale 3 years of age and now I'm looking to get a running dog in a few months. If any one could answer a few questions that would be great.would I be better with a dog or a bitch? What breed? Around 20' tts. Anyone have experience with this situation. If I got a bitch it would have to be spayed will it still be up go working?will my patterdale turn because he is the only dog at the moment .any help would be greatly appreciated please be patient as this is my first post thanks yorkshire-kid
