It's a starter motor buddy! I welded a socket onto the drive gear with a nut init and got a threaded bar used that as the spindal. And I haven't put bands on her yet I know a crime but been a busy man! I will get round to doing it in the next few days! Thanks for looking yorkshire-kid

I have been an apprentice and I don't care what anyone says its not bullying it's learning life skills! If you can't handle them days you are not cut out to be in a trade! BUT... I was never this daft hahaha!

Here's a little update the lure machine need the line attaching and she's ready to roll! I also had a few hours with the catty and it's about done just wondering which bands and where to get them thanks for looking gents! Going to finish and run the lure machine today. Tell me about it lads! I can't sit and watch tele it breaks me! Here's a little update of the catty alot of sanding to do yet but the main shape is nearly there! and here is the lure machine a frame I also have the starter motor a d switch now just waiting to attach the spindal for the pulley thanks for looking lads any tips or I you can see a flaw please point it out which I'm sure you will thanks yorkshire-kid

Hello mate I have just spoken to aether turner and basically he just wanted to sell me a gun however I have phoned a few gunsmiths in the area and browns have quoted no more than £60 for a full service and new safety so looks like I will be going there. Andy97 I really don't want to get into fettleing guns and for £60 all in I can't argue.

Well basically I have been laid up a while after my op so insted of sulking I got my head into a few projects here we go and will post progress on the two ongoing ones. Before during after now the start of my first catty I have dried the wood an starting the shaping will upload some pics when I have a few hours more on it. And...... The making of a lure machine. Only had a few hours on it tonight so only 1 pic of me welding but here we go. God it's good to be about again! thanks for looking! Yorkshire-kid
