  2. I have just recently put a deposit on a whippet pup traveled to stoke to meet a very nice gentleman with an amazing collection of whippets and 7 pups to choose from his dogs had descended from mbs his are proven workers and don't regret it one bit!
  3. I travelled to stoke this afternoon and choose a pup out of a litter of seven extremely happy with him will collect him in 5 weeks when he is ready. Thanks for the help gents. He is a pure whippet and looked the strongest in the litter for what I could tell due to them still being young.
  4. bang on that mate thanks and I have a patt but it i was so lucky with him didn't see dam sire or any other pups I phoned a bloke up and he delivered it in a pidgeon box and I bought him there and then and he's a little cracker but I know I will never be that lucky again!   5. Going to have a look at some pups tonight any advice? All seems legit and seems good lines but only time will tell. Anything to look out for apart from the extra leg or 2 heads haha thanks yorkshire-boy
  6. I am after a pup (dog) in 8 weeks time no earlier due to me leaving the country for a few weeks for a one off . If anybody knows anyone with any in pup or will be ready please let me know. (Mike brown and penny meadow have none till next year) thanks yorkshire-kid

  8. The ground is fairly even but might venture abit further but I will use common sense. Got to wait 8 weeks before i get it so if you know any one with pups on the way or any around that time give me a nod would be much appreciated prefer working lines haha thanks again yorkshire-kid
  9. I'm looking at getting my first running dog looking at a short haired whippet x. I will mainly be rabbiting with it under the lamp and the odd bit with my terrier bolting them any recommendations of what to get would be greatly appreciated. Thanks yorkshire-kid

  11. I will be taking it very slowly and they will be separated when not supervised I have been assessing the situation for a while its nt a rash decision. I have been introducing him to many pups and all seems well but he will never be left for that opportunity to do anything. Thankyou for the reply yorkshire-kid

  18. No he's placid around people and knows his place. I just want the best for both dogs and prepare for every situation. If I'm ready and the patt is ready a whippet x will be the next addition around august time.
  19. I have posted this also in the lurcher section got a little joy but looking to widen my knowledge on the subject. Basically I have a 3 year old patt and I'm looking it get a pup(whippet). I just have a few questions. My patt Dosent take kindly to some dogs but bitches touch wood he's normally fine. Will he be better with a pup of any gender? What are the chances of him turning? I know they are hard questions to answer but just wondering if anyone has been in this situation. Also both dogs will be kept indoors due to theiving scum around here! Thanks in advance yorkshire-kid
  20. Everyone has their own opinion on this subject but for me personally I wouldn't go to anyone else but mike brown heard that a few time to be honest thanks for your help hillbilly boy (excuse the spelling small keypad and big fingers = a whippet botch) haha bad times

  23. My dog seems a lot better with bitches and he can turn on the odd dog but never normally a bitch argh!!! Decisions hahaha I need the luck every one is wishing
