    Looks good. I have a sheet folded and pinned, which I can hang up in the garden. It ends up about 2' by 2' with an flap at the bottom to catch the ammo. Folds away for when the wife says the garden has to look nice!

    I shoot 3070 tubes and rocks. Works a treat! Big pouch, big tubes, big ammo. If I miss that's ok, but if I hit it's generally a 1-shot kill. I was having trouble with theraband and 9.5 steel - I could be more accurate most of the time, but had a few runners

    I use scaffold (debris) netting which is available cheaply off auction sites, or if you know anyone in the trade (or just ask if you see a scaffold being taken down - I believe they can only be used on-site a few times before being replaced). The holes on it are about 3mm; I read that up to 7mm will keep the cabbage whites off. That and cheap washing up liquid in the water works pretty well. I'm growing Greyhound cabbage too.     It is a little wonky, isn't it! Only one or two slabs that rock though when you walk on them. We're gradually shoring a few up - we can do without anyone falling over and blaming my plot or my neighbour's It was used before by someone who had three full plots side-by-side and grew to sell on the markets. My plot was taken up entirely by rotten cabbages stood in a sea of weeds when I took it on. The stink from the compost heap when I'd cleared that lot was incredible!

    Morning all. Obviously I'm new here but thought this thread should be my first port of call - my allotment is just about in order this year (only took it on Easter 2012, so had plenty of clearing to do last year before I could get anything in). My spuds are just about all showing through, the broad beans are flowering (as are strawberries). Peas are maybe a foot tall (Champion of England, which will grow to 8 or 9 foot ).     Good evening all; thought I should introduce myself after gleaning so much information on here as a "lurked" rather than a poster. I am, I'm sorry to say, a townie, but with an interest in field sports, though sadly little experience (bit that's why I'm here in the first place!). I have a Springer air rifle which I use for a little pest control of rats around here. I think the main area I'm interested in is snaring and trapping.
