Out lamping rabbits with a friends lurcher tonight! First time in years feels like xmas!

We caught nothing lol. The pup wasn't quite on the job that day and the rabbits were ALL sat right next to the flipping hedges. Still out till 3am and had a couple of runs worth getting excited about. I loved it!

So Happy! Finally have permission all of my own and its right on my doorstep, literally! Moved to a farm in the FOD, life gets no better than be surrounded by field and forest and a private lake!! Plus nobody is controlling the rats flying rats or bunnies so I've been told to go wild!

Thanks guys, it was a lot of hard work and I had to give up a lot, rural living, having any social life... (No I wasn't one of those funded students! lol) but now Im done I can finally start life again!

Out for a midnight walk in the quarry and managed to call in a fox to nearly 20ft away with my distressed bunny impression!

Ah I dont have any gun license, I only had a catty on me haha wasn't going to do much with that. Was just impressed it actually worked! Soon as I switched my torch on again it was right close! Then it freaked and high tailed it out.

In need of small budget torch suitable for scanning fields and learning to spot bunnies/foxes etc, Doesn't have to be gun mounted just a bit stuck for suggestions!

cheers guys, I think I will go for it. Will have to wait till I get some spare cash though, so in the meantime I'm going to risk taking apart my 1600Lumen Cree and find out where the connections dodgy.

Good suggestions, I have a cree but it seems to have developed issues and is flikering... I have found this on the bay, an UltraFire 3000 Lumen Aluminum Alloy CREE XM-L XML T6 for just under £20 , but it coming from China ;/

Yes, I think Lincoln made up for its flatness by condensing all its potential hill's into one giant f**k off steep one. Adequately named "steep Hill"! Holy f**k I nearly died after being dared to try and run up it!

Caught a 2 pound Pollock on a teeny tiny pink poachers rod, utilizing the finest in 99p store fishing line/hooks and a dead caterpillar for bait! Win for the pot tonight beer battered fish for tea!

The fish was great, Ive got beer batter down to an artform and I actually managed to fillet all the bones out, (normally a couple of strays get in somehow)
You can't beat fish straight out the sea, though holidays over now, back in Bournemouth for one last night before I move to Lincoln tomorrow.

Was great! Can't believe my £9.99 novelty pen fishing rod and cheapo tack caught anything at all to be honest. Only threw it over the Kayak for a laugh! lol

Visiting the FOD and just gave my dad a new catapult with a wrist guard as a thanks for your support prezzie. Ive actually never seen him so excited off out down the farm pigeons beware!

Ha the only thing we managed to take down was the danger quarry sign! Nothing about, but I did rescue a sparrow from the veg cage so there, good deed of the day done.
