  1. bloody hell chester those pups are looking really racey, i hope max can get rid of his kennel cough ok and there is no damage left, going by your photos sam and solo would definately take the p out of max.
  2. a good solid boot in the side of the head should do the trick. if the owner starts tell him to off or he will get the same.
  3. what size do these grow to? imagine picking all the burrs out of that coat
  4. hes a nice strong looking dog, also going by the colour of him looks like he has been having fun
  5. i totally agree they do vary too much but i found the winchesters are quieter, keep us posted on how you get on
  6. its a leupold vx111 3.5-10x50 i paid about £600 about 10 years ago and it is still 100% i took it off my 22-250 at the beginning of the year. I cant fault the leupold scopes for the money, just like the cz's cheap and bloody good! You could import 1 for about £250 if you wanted to.
  7. i forgot about that , see ya
  8. on a more serious note though i do like the sound of the GSDx
  9. bloody great frank i spent £ on an electric mincer 4 months ago, its so flipping noisy i have only used it once
  10. i have never had a problem if i use any ammo except cci subs as sometimes they jam in the mag.
  11. that is some fantastic grouping with the eley club my CZ Silhouette much prefers the eley subs to the winchester but i might need to try the club , you cant really tell on the target but the group was about the size of a 5 p piece and shot at around 30yds
  12. i definately would reccomend the cz rifles , they are cheap and also extremely accurate, mine loves a diet of eley subs
  13. thanks dogger, i wish i had brought my camera to take a photo of your pups sire, to everyone out there the russel is a muscled up little monster, i never knew a russel could look in such a fantastic condition. Anyway here is a few photos of the pup i collected from dogger, to say this pup is feisty is an understatement!! by the way it took 3.5 hours to get home.
  14. well i would need to say the red filter, i only ever use the red filter for bunnies and find it works great for spotting them as i also use a dimmer switch and turn it down really low and there eyes show up very far away then when the shot is on i turn up the power till i can make a confident shot. hope this helps
  15. thanks frank , by the way what time do you actually get up in the morning because you post sometimes when most folk are tucked up in bed.
  16. well paul thanks for selling her to me looks like you were right about her
  17. as deker said but the officer here in dumfries and galloway wouldnt let me bring my guns when i moved here unless i gave him written permission and stated the calibres i was allowed to use on the landowners land, good job the landowner is also my boss
  18. nice one rob what cartridges were you using because going by the hole you made it looks like you were using a centrefire not a shotgun
  19. he looks a super wee pup, great shape about him
  20. i do hope there will be many more to come one question i must ask is do you think it would be ok to go out with her every couple of nights or do you think i should ease her into it by going out once a week then slowly making it more frequent? the last thing i want to do is spoil her.
  21. these seem a bargain at only £100 , you will find homes for them beauties no probs
  22. yip thats the one i know your frank , i just use mark that when i describe roughly describe something, like my dog max is around the 25tts mark how is the pup coming on?
