    Right the lad has had some sound advice, and im sure he will act on it whatever the reason for the pups condition it does need putting right. Lets hope for the sake of the pups which are the most important issue that in a in a couple of weeks they looking more bright eyed and with more puppy fat to aid with their growth. Just a question did you breed the litter to keep one back for yourself? give the lad a chance to explain why so many dogs being sold. Got to aggree that their are to many dogs being bred for money though and its leaving to many surplus dogs that get passed from pillar to post

    Good to see the lad getting some good advice, constructive comments all round from lads who im sure have plenty of exprience and know what there talking about when it comes to the rearing of lurcher pups. Agree about the importance for a good quality wormer thats got to be paramount, drontal, panacur something along those lines, plenty of interaction with people, good quality food and warmth and you wont go far wrong. Keep us posted in a couple of weeks with some more pics. We all learn from experience and the lads who are sharing there knowledge in a constructive way can only benefit each oth

    just a question, are the pups generally lively and playful? got to agree with some of the comments they do look abit malnourished, but dont think the pups being wet is helping your pictures. A good couple of weeks eating well and kept warm they will be spot on, maybe taking some pictures when their playing with each other might be better, so they dont look as uptight. Again just a personal opinion, seen your pictures of the parents nice dogs and im sure these pups will make good honest working dogs in the right hands.     Unfortunately £350 isnt a weekly wage for most people any more, but thats just a sign of the times. With a pup you pay your money and take your chance whether that be £50 or £500, obviously the quality of breeding and the rearing of the pups is important but the time effort and patience of bringing that pup on is paramount. Read a good book the other day by J.Darcy Scooby, took me back the trials and frustrations of bringing a pup on, and all the graft required to turn a pup into a competent worker, I too have had a dog of a lifetime not just its abilities in the field but a dog that coul

    had both types of kennels but prefer block rendered or painted to keep them water tight, solid very little maintenance and last a lifetime. I keep 2 dogs in there and even on the coldest nights there warm as toast from there body heat hardly ever use the heat lamp. dont post on here so often but its entertaining keep it up lads.

    cracking looking pups. surely the most important thing is that the pups get good homes with responsible owners. whatever the breeding or colour of a lurcher pup we all pay our money and take a chance! good luck selling the rest of the pups.
