  2. Stop at 200 bar max refill at 130 min. For optimum performance, use a chrony to find the optimal values and keep the pressure somewhere in between. Prolly 145-185. My 2 cents, Maragan. Is that the green section Maragan , cheers.
  3. Hi folks. when charging a HW100 at what pressure would you stop charging and at what pressure would you re charge, thanks in advance

  12. thaks for replies lads , I think I will use ferrets but I will def keep an eye out for them as I know rats are are formiddable opponent.Perhaps I might use them in easy places like straw and hay etc , or where I can get to them quickly if need be. Now for the question does anyone intend breeding any this year, cheers Ted
  13. Let us know how you get on with the Arthur Carter smoker mate, Heard mixed reviews now i CAN advise on that smoker and my advice is cancel the bugger asap as it really is crap ( we have one) , they give off lots of smoke BUT they r so temperamental, rai or windy conditions and they are useless. However the worst part is that sometimes it can give off flames , not good if on a farm amongst straw etc.
  14. Thanks for reply mate , I know what damage that rats can do to the dogs so I was wonderin does anyone think its cruel using ferrets on rats
  15. 1stly it'll need to fit down a rat hole, make sure there is no possibility of the tunnels intersecting drainage pipes, lost ferret, also always use a locator, micro or Mk3 would be best due to the confined spaces And use an older ferret, take a first aid kit for your ferrets with you Thats covered it i think  Thanks for reply longdog , sounds like you have experience using them on rats. Can i ask you do ferrets pack in with rats after a while or will they work rats season after season, cheers again.
  16. I was wondering how many folks use their ferrets to bolt rats. I am into ratting and I think using a ferret would be more rewarding. Is there a specific type or will any ferret do the job. Any advice would be much appreciated, cheersd Ted

  22. I have been reading this thread with great interest. You cant blame people for reacting to the likes of Chowdry and his puppets in the manner that they do. I am no BNP voter but some of what they say makes my body tingle with patrionism where as other stuff makes me cringe with shame. I personally believe this country is f,cked, as with many more European countries but this one in particular. We seem to be the laughing stock and well do theese people like Chowdry know it. I remember the Argies , after the Falklands war ended , stating that they thought the Brits werent interested in the Islands
  23. Hallo guys , and the best to you all for the new year. I wondered if any of you experienced shooters out there could put me on the right road for a night vision set up mainly for rats at about 20 - 25 yards distance . I havent got an endless supply of cash so the best but the most economic would be much appreciated. I see some smashing videos on youtube and would love to be able to go out ratting at n ight on my permission, thanks in advance, Ted
