  2. this is my bitch deerhound from deernbull kennels i also have a whippet/bull x stag and a stag/greyhound both caught quicker but neither killed as efficient

Millet hey kane that brindle dog pup is just gone 12 months and since that pic found and caught a 50k boar lugged the ear and held it long enough for me to use a 22 to end it no injuries no fuss he also has taken 6 foxes single handed his mother the litle brindle bitch also takes fox single handed and just for the record she has caught numerouse blue flyers in her younger days si its time to pull your head in

These 3 types of dog at least the short haired verities are what went into the make up of the Bull Arab, Bully, greyhound, Pointer, some love em and some hate em personally I dont care as long as it can catch a hog. dont tell fibbers steve if that was true you would own a couple of good pigdogs and wouldnt need zeb to show you the way lol

  10. hi kane i own 3 of those dogs i agree they are not hard compared to a big meathead BUT they do put the pork on the fork so they are hard enough for me skippy

  14. gave a mates daughter a kit last season it has the free run of the house and garden mate keeps avery birds and poultry the ferret has never touched them it goes walkabout down the padock for up to 2 hours then comes back and scratches at the door it even comes running up the garden when called by name wiffy it was bred from working stock allthough it has never worked any one else got one like this

  16. can anyone recomend a good dvd catching foxes with running dogs after watching a couple of dvd on hare coursing i get the impression uk hares are slower than aussie hares or is that just because the dogs being used were mainly saluki crosses and this cross doesnt go flat out and the hare onley runs as fast as necessary. this cross certainly put the game in the bag but they take a bloody long time to do it

  18. hi stevemac the brindle dog is 9 months matel ess 2 weeks in that pic by the way he played a good part in a nice boar on the weekend o yer it was the one you missed last week a real little fighter and no holding dogs aroumd, my deerhound hit it hard on the ear dragged it around a bit then let go and bailed it as usual getting a puncture in the ribs for her trouble
  19. well said rocks , i agree with not rehoming any dodgy dogs . if a dog fu*ks up once it might do it again and then there is another excuse and the wheel of excusses goes on and on until it's a kids face missing totally agree with both of you lads on this one.. why would any one wanna keep, train or breed from a dog that is not right in the head,,.. Get rid,, and i dont mean pass it on to some other poor person i mean PTS. recently over here a little girl was killed by good working pigdogs would i breed from them or own any of their offspring no f-----g way

  25. its easy getting a dog to lug up just about any bull breed will do it getting them to find to loose and to run on is the hard bit
