my old dog was a 3 quater bull greyhound. was bred realy well. not to worried about what is is but its got to be right good hunter jumper im in gloucestershire cheers mate of mine has a 1st cross apbt x greyhound its about 12 months old doin its job already , never saw it run myself as its not my forte but ive sent you a pm of a contact number

Pure Saluki's - are they really as dappy in the feild as people say?

i saw a 15month old pure saluki demolish 3/4 long ears in january (pre-ban of course) and it was in north yorkshire so it wasnt exactly fen , and i know the half sister ran in the forley cup at 14months old and kille hares , she done quite well considering she was a pup and running against seasoned top stuff. they are out of working strain and are as fast as most saluki hybrids. probly fastest strain of pures ive ever saw and the sire was meant to be faster than the bitches so looks like he past his speed on. not all salukis are fast and not all saluki hybrids are fast all depends on the sir -
yes mate, they have both had their fair share can you provide anymore info on the parents , be better for sellin the pup

cracking pair of pups Baz to be fair if didnt have any dogs id defo buy the pup snoops offering and one of Baz little belters, i prefer 2 pups rather than 1 , fantasic breeding on both litters and both dams and sires top notch on the coursing field, gonna be a hard choice as to which will be best but both will be the bollox

thanks everyone i was just being over-reactive after she took off , as some of you may know ive had a bit of bad luck with dogs this year so im being extra extra careful with this one. shes nice and big and showing milk already still nearly 3 weeks to go so hopefully a bellyfull of pups 8 would be ideal as i can keep everyone happy thats asked for one

grey is added for speed , collie for brains , grey faster than saluki , saluki faster than collie so therefore all collie brings is brains not speed so i guess they will be slower than pure saluki and slower than grey x collie

shes walked on the lead for 15 minutes at a time 2/3 times a day , but never let off to run around especially after rabbits at her stage in pregnancy

i have a pregnant bitch , shes due in just under 3 weeks the little bugger bolted when i reached for her lead tonight and was running loose for a good 10 mins , she definatleY chased a couple of rabbits, so should i take her to vets for check up in morning as im worried about her running around as shes quite big already

yeah hes getting walked on hard ground and let him have a little gallop in a small grass paddock too but thanks to everyone for there support

joe itself is brindle although he does throw a lot of black n tans , i had a bitch last year out of joe was black n tan, the bitch i put to wolf is brindle the bitch isnt much bigger than the peg leg pup, shes just over 23tts

well if he aint able to run he make a great pet cos hes got the best nature of any pup ive had in the last 10 years so it be difficult to part with him , thats why ive stuck by him , guess im just getting soft in my old age

oscars leg brace has been off for nearly 3 weeks now and hes been having some light hydrotherapy or for you no brainers ....swimming . hes able to walk and run without any problem now so just some more muscle development on his damaged leg and he be as good as new so heres some pics

thanks sjm the pup is doin fab hes runnin around and only carrying a slight limp , due to one leg being stronger than the other but hes getting better by the day , i reckon he be doin the biz this time next year

heres the pup ive kept out the liter, chose her as shes the most saluki looking out the 4 she was 6 weeks old yesterday

new bitch shes bred out of foxy x joe(sire) suzie x joe(dam) totally line bred as sire and dam share same sire bitch is around 15/16 months old

plenty of proven stud dogs around mate , and throwing good stuff, CN has 3 casper , jack and buddy

im in the same boat mate so sorry to hear the bad news and good luck with recovery, my pups doin well hes had his metal leg fixater taken off and hes walking like nothings ever happened and it only came off on friday last week , its been 6 weeks since his accident
