    Was out with the family yesterday and saw a red deer fairly close up, what a beast of an animal! So it got me thinking if any lads on here had ever had a slip on one pre ban obviously would be good to here some genuine tales and not about 19 inch beddy whippets singlehanded ha

    Cheers for the replys lads, it could well be a goer! I've shot rabbits down there before and the lurchers definitely seen plenty of action down there, but with ferrets your a bit more committed ya can't just make a quick getaway haha

    Ye that's what I thought it ain't a nature reserve and I can't see why it's poaching when it's a public footpath, just thinking more on the lines of some antis out walking!

    There's shit loads of rabbit holes etc on a public footpath were I walk every night , it's a quiet spot fairly out the way but just wondering were I stand on doing a bit of ferreting there?? There active earths just been a bit weary as not exactly having permission

    Cheers lads I normally give them to family or to my mates ferrets but the curry is definitely a thought, I usually use chicken so ill see if our lass notices ;-) hot meat that's your choice bang one in a curry n see what it's sayin

    Does it really make a difference if the rabbit is slightly bruised taste wise??? This doesn't apply to airgun hunting as its a clean head shot when I go out but when I go lamping the dog is fairly soft mouthed but still bruises them slightly how does this affect the taste the meat??

    Well as title says took my collie greyhound pup 11mnth on its first proper nights graft, not season yet i no but thought it would be a good time to show him lamp get a few young ones to learn on, only out for a couple of hour n he got 4 out of 6 runs so well chuffed with him to say he'd only seen them when out mooching and chasing them in to cover, should make a good dog

    I've only ever seen my mates bedlington pup bush but to be honest it seemed too go too far away n never caught anything , how do spaniels bush and how do your terriers bush??
