Hello all, Ive just lost one of my albino hobs yesterday and he was my best ferret, the wind blew the hutch open and he got out while i was in school. Ive been looking for him for ages, told all the neighbors etc... but no luck as yet . My question is, have any of you lost a ferret? How long do they survive? and what can i do to help find him? Thanks alot everyone! Just a bit more knowledge now for the future and fingers-crossed ill be having some nice kits going to some good homes that i have ready for them , The parents are good workers especially the hob and if anyone wants some free kits when they are ready around my area ive me a call . Its the first time ive bred ferrets and all im waiting for now is my jill to come into season, Has anyones jills come into season yet? ATB, Luke.

Hello all, I have 2 albino hobs, and i have just aquired a polecat jill from a friend. I am planning on breeding them and the jill does not seem to be in season as her vulva isnt swollen but the problem is, the previous owner has kept her with his hob since november and when i had her yesterday i put her in with my hob who i intend to breed her with for the night and he bit her arond the neck and everything but i didnt stay around to watch . Now they are seperate but my question is, would the previous owners hob have mated with her in that time(of the year)? and would have my hob been a

Take a look at this... What an idiot i cannot beleive some people treat thair ferrets like this, how can you dress them up, surely tey are not meant to be put in bunny hats and pranced around like a kiddies teddy bear ?

Im 15 been ferreting since i was 8, i got all my equiptment off ebay from a guy called "purple liam", he makes great good-quality nets at good prices too. As for losing your ferret, i was exactly the same i would never put my ferret in a bury that was it a hedge or anywhere near brambles, but dont worry, i soon got used to it and now i put him everywhere! They are pretty hard to lose especially if you have an albino Luke.

Hi all, A while ago i purchased a Webley Raider .22 2-shot and ive had no problems with it until today when i decided to buy a chronograph. I set it all up and when i finally got round to testing the gun the first shot read 11.7ft/lb's with 14.5 grain powapells - Nice! NOT! The second shot read 11.1 ! Then the third shot read 11.9 and fourth 11.5!!! I ran out the air and refilled my gun to 200 BAR and the same happened again , it isnt going above 12ft/lb's or below 11ft/lb's its just varying to every number in between ?!?!? Hi all, I have 2 hobs right now and a while ago one of them broke his tooth while out ferreting, i didnt think anything of it at the time as it only chipped off the end of his tooth. But now its turned a yellowish coulor and i can see the red root at the bottom, also he seems reluctant to bite anything and he always licks the food i give him for a couple of minutes before he actually grabs it off me and even then he seems reluctant to chew it. Im worried as i think it might be hurting him when food goes up inside it, like a bad toothache and im worried as to what to do . Any help aprecia

Hello all, can you please help me, when i try to log-in, the website returns a message reading "The error returned was: Sorry, you are not permitted to use this board" with the login boxes below i enter my username and password and it does nothing and just returns to the same page with the error message?!?!
