    Hi fellas... Iv been wondering - Iv only ever had pure breeds and they do a good job why is it alot now are crossed with bull? What do they have what a purebred say whippet wouldnt have??

    Not had a pure saluki no so cant really comment on the dog in topic, just from a more general point of view it would help... Dogs dont grow up with Evil intent no matter what breed (unless they are ill etc) Im not saying that it will fix it but it would deffinatly help the situation as the dog probably attacks now because it may lack confidence being on lead and walking with dogs what are strangers to it would help build the confidence within the dog.

    Hi guys can anyone point me in the right direcition for a whippet event/ where i could go just to race mine. Nothing to serious as he's only around 14 month and never tried anything like this before- I imagine he wouldnt do much racing maybe just jump on the other whippets and distrupt them you see. Anyhwere in the Lancashire/Yorkshire area?

    If you have any mates who have dogs ask to go on a walk with them... This would help your saluki's confidence and walking builds up Pack mentality... The more walks with other dogs you go on the more yours will feel comftable around other strangers dogs too.. Just keep them both on a lead... This way your avoiding (or trying to avioid) having any random dog dive all over yours- that wouldnt be too good and the more yours becomes aggressive the more it becomes habbit... and not to mention when a dog pulls on the lead even in the slightest to attack another dog, it enhances the emotion and fustr

    Thanks Rob mate, I think that would be the best idea just to muzzle him... If one bit him then i think he'd soon learn! he's not so keen on pain i figured.... Ill give it a try with him watching to learn first, at the minute there is no stratergy to him catching rabbits. Its a full on race till one or the other burns outt! Crazy.

    Hi fellas. I know this is my first post but i think this is within the forum rules that i am allowed to advertise my Air rifle for sale. Its a Tx200 HC, .22 under leaver with scope and case included.... scope is HK series Hawke optics with green / red lit cross hairs...i have the origional box also if this is needed and manual & saftey lock. It is a great gun, around 4 month old no signs of rust and only fired around 100 pellets down it... Reason for sale to be honest is because im struggling for money at the time being...     Hi fellas, I have been out with my whippet after rabbits... although i have never worked him with any ferrets, A mate suggested we possibily should work them together although what would be the best way to go about introducing the two? Mine has never met a ferret and i can just imagine him getting a little carried away with his new mate
