depends on the dog and the work, ive got a dog here 11 this year and still works, hes got his limitations but is still a very usefull dog. he lamps and bushes ok, i tend to use him for retrieving shot game and flushing aswell, his son is a pure speed merchant so they compliment each other in the daytime good post that paulus

never the less mate am looking at going the seoson without a runnable dog,not a nice thought,bassically all i can do is ferriting what isny really ma favorite working sport, 7 weeks o so left of the season so your not looking at going a season without a runnable dog you have manage for most of the season without an a 4 month pup running january not great time to start a pup let alone one 4 month off course mate but a have been persisting way the old 1 an as ave said before 10 out of 10 in her prime,,,,,,,, 2 out of 10 now , all be it on fast ground.. give her a run on rough ground -

i read about that horse, when they autopsird him his heart was twice the size of typical racehorses. they think that mighrt be the case with frankel aswell.
