    out of curiosity at what point do you wipe out a warren or how do you know when to ease off it? is it literally a case of 2 rabbits when normal haul is 10 etc or could that just be a sign of a bad day ?

    so twice a month go out and do a warren each time ? im new to this sorry of it seems a bit simple of me to ask! ll also only have two jills and a bed x whip so cant see me getting through too much????

    the 250 site is in the middle of a huge area of other crop land so yes id imagine theres a large pop in the area, I imagine at some point Ill have permission on the surrounding areas through my contact who gave me permission being a popular land owner in the area.

    I have now a 45 acre plot with one or two warrens and a 250 acre plot with a definate 7 warrens and some more possibly. How often would you all work such land ? obviously wouldn't want to deplete the population? etc

    If they did neuter ferrets getting a HOB from there might be a bonus then ? May actually save a few quid?? My only worry is, the misses has alloted me a small space in the garden for ferrets, theres no way ill be allowed another cage elsewhere this was a ballache enough to get, so if the rescue ferret doesnt perform im fuc#!@d

    Evening All, Am I right in presuming you cant go wrong with a pair of ferrets rescued from RSPCA etc ? ( I know saying RSPCA is like saying voldermort but its the nearest rescue centre to me in Oldham) Surely there natural instinct will kick in the moment they go down a hole and smell the rabbit etc? I have finally got land permission on a farm up Lancashire/Yorkshire border and just last night a huge 250 acre permission came through in Yorkshire where they have had to pay people in spring to clear out rabbits previously, So im panicking now, its all finally falling into place and

    Hiya lads, Same post as in the lurcher forum(sort of as I cant copy and paste)! My bed/whip is 8 and half months now and im still struggling for land, its not the going out and being on my own for me, id much rather go out and tag along with a group for a good days hunt, so was wondering when the season starts up again or those who lamp are out and about would it be possible to tag along and teach my pup the ropes and more importantly me lol As for the black pudding I work at a World Famous Black Pudding Company located in bury and ill at my expense source you the finest fresh blac

    Evening Lads, My beddy/whippet is 8 and half months now and shes coming on brilliantly she's got the idea but needs a more experienced dog to show her the ropes! Just wondering if there's any lads here in the northwest to west Yorkshire way who fancy letting us come out with them, that's now for a bit of lamping/mouch or September come ferreting time! About the black pudding lets just say I work at the world famous black pudding factory in Bury and ill source you at my expense some of the finest pudding in the land
