    HELP

You said you fed them flesh. It maybe that it had gone off and they were inadvertantly poisoned. Try dried kitten food. Ferrets and cats have the same type of digestive system, and a kits bite is plenty powerful enough to chomp through the biscuits. Plus the fact its cheaper and less hassle to get and equally as good for your ferrets!
  2. That dog's got some stamina!
  3. Try leaving the retrieving for a week or so. Then just do 2 or 3 retrieves with her twice a week max. You could also try using a new retrieve object like a squeeky toy. I find that some dogs just get bored of retrieve training, they know what to do but the fun has gone. You could also try putting the object in different places where she's got to think on how to get it out. It's all a game!
  4. I'm for EDRD every time. and agree that CW is a complete and utter waste of money. When I first started getting Shooting News, you had to order it, as the Newsagents didn't stock it, and when I picked it up every Friday (think it was 90p or 95p then) got wierd looks off the newsagents, but then I was only 12. Today you can buy CW in Morrisons even. It caters for the masses as does TV Weekly, Hello Magazine and the Beano (if its still going). Hence those with an indepth knowledge and interest in fieldsports won't find it interesting imo
  5. Bang some neet bleech in the bottle. Let is stand, swill it around. And the algae will soon come off. Just make sure you rinse the bottle out well. The method has never failed me, and it only takes a few minutes. Just remember to wash the bottle out well
  6. With entering ferrets you want to leave them as long as possible before entering to rabbit as they sometimes get some good kickings. So the older they are, the more resiliant (theoretically) they are to rabbit kicks Saying that I reckon from 16 weeks onwards the ferrets are tough enough to receive a kicking. The work for the hell of it, though I find it takes at least 3 trips out for the ferrets to properly sus out whats going on. In time you'll be abble to tell whether there's rat, rabbit or a mixture of both from the bristling and behaviour of your ferrets. They even make you doubt your inte
  7. To stop his wining when you're out try leaving him with an old jumper of yours that's well worn and smells of you. With regards him P*ssing on his bed, he's only 8 weeks old, he'll learn, eventually. If you can let him out at lunchtimes or get a neighbour to do it for you this'll theoretically speed up the house training process! He is only 8 weeks old after all. They reckon that a pup can hold its bladder an hour longer for every month its alive, upto acceptable limits
