    hi, i am only a year 10 but am soon preparing for collage only about 1 and a half years to go and hear lots of good things about newton rigg so im hopeing to go there to gamekeeping or possibly farming just wondered if anyones been or is still there what they think off it thanks,jack

    i use windrow sports just for pelltets but if im wanting a gun or some gear and divers bottle filling there and then i go to bradford stalker ouston/birtley bit far but cheaper and dont have to wait a week for bottle to be filled only wait about 5mins

    on new years day i was at a friends farm trying to sort out a few pigeons corvids and collard doves i managed to get 3 collard doves 1 jacdaw and 2 feral pigeons and that was in 30mins would have had loads more if the rain never struck forcing me in the house ha, i also had a sucsesfull day out new years eve i will pop another post about that later . and this year i have also decided to mark down each quarry i shoot on each farm to look at next year thanks for reading , jack http://s1355.photobucket.com/user/jackdowd5/media/1503970_664561046900548_1633456859_n_zps8d1993c1.jpg.html

    had feo inteview 6th december he got back and spoke to a man who works with explosive at work, to ask what type of person i am and said he would get back very shortly. that was somwhere around the 16th of dec should i get in touch or are they on along holiday over xmas thanks,

    hi if i was to say i have a £300 budget what gun could you get, a single trigger o/u 12gauge ejector is what id be after s/h of course what guns would you recommend at that price with those features. thanks,jack

    went out for a few hours only done a few sets had one bad worry in, and could not locate the ferret because its collar was blocked we put in my ferret it killed in we located it and dug it out. put it back in to try and move the other on it killed in again we dug out and just before we went, after 40 mins at the set the other ferret appeared. ah well we got ten rabbits and we came back with the two ferrets we took http://s1355.photobucket.com/user/jackdowd5/media/1470363_654324837924169_461297828_n_zpsd5736fe7.jpg.html

    hi sorry if this is a stupid question but is there any difference in performance (range) between the striker and blitz, as it is an argument between two friends one says the blitz goes lots further and spot is just as tight/small. and the other says the striker goes just as far but with smaller/tighter spot. could some one tell me the truth, thanks,jack

    didn't know which section to post this in but thought you guys might know, what do you think of jack pyke hunter boots they are only £85 and thats all im willing to pay as my feet are still growing. do you recommend them ? thanks,jack

    ive had muck boots 3 times and where sh*te had cheap nora lasted longer than muck boots but freezing cold and now have le chameau vierzonord and are brilliant most comfy wellies and warmest ive had ! also lasting long still after 1 year.

    Hello, my father had his feo today he says he thinks it gone smoothly although he was not told hold long it will take to be told what's happening I've heard oits about a week ? We are in the co. Durham area thanks,jack

    Ah he just today recived a call he is having his interview at 11am tomorrow and we have worked out that he applyed 7 weeks ago hopefully not long wait after the interview for him to be told yes or no !

    hi my father has applied for his sgs around about the 20th October and he was wondering how long it takes to get a reply as hes heard lots of different answers. so just wondered if you guys know the avarage waiting time before he is told about whats happening such as an interview. thanks,jack

    so i havent yet been out since returning from holiday and i was speaking to a man i know and he said he would take me out for a few hours. so he took be up to some where in the hills which i later found out was strathmore estates we [BANNED TEXT] up and ran a set had a quick chat with the gamekeeper then headed back down to the farm. we walked around some of the fields and was some nice scenery although never had time for many pics i got a few but weren't to good, we did some sets and in one we bolted 2 big rats on river bank the got through the net and unfortunately the dog missed them. at t
